Daily Devotional

I've been really gratified recently at what a wide and welcome reception the PCCWeb Daily Devotional has been receiving across our denomination. I would appreciate it if you would help me spread the word about it.

Earlier this year, Jack Vallance, the editor of the newsletter at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Nanaimo BC, suggested that we should write an article about the Daily for other newsletter editors to include in their publications as a way of introducing it to an even wider audience. Jack and I have co-operated to put together some material that could be used in your church this Christmas, and it is attached to this e-mail. I hope that it has come in time for your publication deadline. If you are not the one who edits the newsletter in your church, please do us a favour and pass it on to the one who does. If you don't have a newsletter, perhaps the material could be formatted to add to one of your bulletin inserts.

Why now? Each year, for the Advent and Christmas season, all through the month of December, we feature Christmas devotionals. Because it's such a special time of year, I consider it to be one of the best times to be introduced to the Daily.
